Hey Girlfriend Network Founder Cynthia Billingslea

Part of the annual mission for the Hey Girlfriend Network - Girlfriends Luncheon is to partner with a local community organization and help with their initiative. Over the years we have helped a countless number of low-income families, underprivileged youth, homeless individuals and human trafficking victims. This year we are excited to partner with Urban Scholar Academy and help provide gift cards for their youth after school program. We are asking each guest to bring a minimum gift card donation of $5.00 from any grocery store or 99 cents store. All donations will be used by the academy for their after school program and help to provide food or school supplies for the students.

Urban Scholar Academy is a non-profit organization whose mission is to prepare urban youth to become transformative leaders in the community through academic enrichment and community service opportunities.

Co-Founder/Executive Director Alexis Coleman and staff are doing an excellent job with their after school program and it is a joy to be of service to others! If you want to donate or get involved with volunteer services please contact them at
